We had the opportunity to recognize incredible Central Florida leaders for Caribbean Heritage Month. From education to healthcare, business to community activism, and more, these honorees have enriched our community with culture, wisdom, and hard work.
We also recognized members of the LGBTQ+ community for their incredible contributions to our district and our country by adding their biographies to the Congressional Record. During Pride Month, we must recognize the progress we‘ve made and fight to continue moving forward.

Hosting Admiral Rachel Levine in Central Florida
It was an honor to host U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Assistant Secretary for Health Admiral Rachel Levine in Central Florida to discuss LGBTQ+ youth mental health, visit the National Pulse Memorial, and speak to farmworkers about the issues they face on a day-to-day basis. We are grateful that Admiral Levine came to Central Florida and heard from our community. The work HHS is doing is helping our constituents each and every day.
Presenting Hope Partnership with $500,000
It was a pleasure joining my friend Representative Kristen Arrington to present the Hope Partnership with $500,000 for an attainable housing project on US192. This, along with the federal dollars we presented to them recently, will help repurpose a motel into housing units for those who need it most.
Visiting the Alianza Center Summer Camp
I had a great time speaking to Alianza Center summer camp students about the importance of protecting the environment. We had so much fun and even made some music together.
Celebrating Caribbean Heritage Month with the Solid Rock Community Church

Team Soto joined the Solid Rock Community Church in Kissimmee to celebrate Caribbean American Heritage Month. We are so thrilled to celebrate the members of our community who fight to make a difference.
Joining the SEIU Florida Retiree Picnic
It was great to see so many dear friends at the 1199SEIU for their SEIU Florida retiree picnic in Orange County. We are thankful for a lifetime of providing quality healthcare for our constituents and saving lives.
Honoring Miguel Lanzo’s LegacyTeam Soto paid our respects to the late Miguel Lanzo, a popular local bomba y plena musician. He was tragically killed last year and will be missed by so many in the community.
Supporting Our Local Girl Scouts at Keiser
Team Soto was on hand at the First Aid Fair at the Keiser University Orlando campus with our local Girl Scouts of Citrus. Knowing first aid and being prepared can save lives.
In Washington, D.C.Celebrating Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown JacksonThrilled to see Florida’s own Ketanji Brown Jackson sworn in as a Supreme Court justice. As we face historic injustices, Justice Brown Jackson will use her voice on the court to ensure justice for all Americans.

I joined the Congressional Hispanic Caucus to protect free speech and stop disinformation. With the sale of 18 Hispanic radio stations to the bipartisan Latino Media Network, the truth will win.
