On October 19-21 in Saint Augustine Florida the discussion will be initiated in the first Moot Trail Competition investigating the future of Puerto Rico’s political status.

The Puerto Ricans Bars Association of Chicago, New York, Florida and Puerto Rico are leading the effort. Many others are expected to join including Federal Judges.

* Increase cultural exchanges between Puerto Rico and Florida to strengthen ties between the two regions,
Puerto Ricans are the fastest growing Spanish speaking group in the state of Florida. It has been estimated that near 1 million Puerto Ricans currently live in the State and 45% -50% are Puerto Rican born. A natural and virgen market not tapped before. We belive is time to give the opportunity that our small and medium business in Puerto Rico needs, access to the Florida market that elected officials has place in the back of the burner and place politicians in the front.

The Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce of Florida is looking for small and medium businesses which are passionate and committed to promote domestic trade between Florida and Puerto Rico. We are looking for individuals who believe that our nation is best served with our virgin domestic trade; These positions are non-paying but we provide a great opportunity package for your business.
In Need of;

President: this individual must have the vision and mission of our chamber in mind and protect our initiatives. This person must be willing to be non partisan and shall protect the chamber from public officials to use the chamber in anyway to advance their own political agenda.
Vice-President: this individual shall be an arm of the President and shall mantain abrest of all iniciatives the President is involved. The VP shall be responsible for grant writing in Spanish and English.
Treasurer: this individual shall work hand in hand with the Public Relation and Marketing Director Mr. Spencer Hayes, to make sure the Sponsors and donations are monitor at all times. Accounting, book keeping is a plus for this position.
