Is there a better and easier way to be part of history in the making?

So far, more than 60 members of Congress from both National political parties have cosponsored HR2000 -a bill for Puerto Rico to become a State of the Union- including the entire Democratic delegation of the State of Florida.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the Democratic Party’s National Committee Chair, is also a cosponsor of HR2000.

National organizations such as the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), and Young Democrats of America (the Democratic Party’s youth organization), have endorsed HR2000.

Important political organizations in Puerto Rico, such as the Republican Party, Young Republicans, Democratic Statehooders, ¡Igualdad Futuro Seguro! (Dr. Hernán Padilla), Misión Estadista, and the Federation of Mayors, have also endorsed HR2000.

So has the New Progressive Party, its leadership, its base, and all of its incumbent Mayors.

Now it’s your turn.

As of today, HR2000 is the Number 1 citizen cosponsored bill in the House of Representantives in Congress.

Let Congress know that Puerto Rico voted overwhelmingly last November against the territory and for Statehood, and that you want Puerto Rico to be admitted as a State of the Union, by cosponsoring HR2000.
