Friends & Supporters of Puerto Rico Statehood,

As one of the 43,526 people who have signed the petition already, we’re turning to you to see if you can help us. Our goal is to have 50,000 signatures in support of statehood by Labor Day. As of today, we only have 6,474 to go to reach our goal!

All we are asking is that you share www.supportstatehood.com – with FIVE of your friends and/or family members who also support statehood for Puerto Rico and ensure we reach our goal!

And if you already shared this petition via email when we asked for help last week, consider sharing it on your Facebook page or tweeting about it. Anything you can do to help is appreciated!

The members of the Puerto Rico Statehood Commission will soon head to Washington where they have a critically important job: convince Congress and the leaders of our great nation to take action and officially grant statehood to Puerto Rico. Being able to point to a strong base of supporters is critical and demonstrates that momentum for statehood is growing!
